To see a confident, Biblically grounded, and historically rooted Protestant witness flourishing in South Africa – centred on the Lord Jesus Christ and shaped by the truths recovered at the Reformation.
We long to see a new generation of Christians established in deep Biblical conviction, strengthened by historic Protestant theology, and equipped to stand firm in an age of growing secularism, doctrinal confusion, and renewed interest in historic forms of Christianity.
As PASA enters its second century, our desire is not merely to preserve a legacy, but to see a renewed confidence in the authority of Scripture, the sufficiency of Christ, and the unchanging Gospel of God’s grace
Our Mission
We will advance and defend historic Protestant Christianity in South Africa by:
- Providing clear, trustworthy Biblical and theological teaching rooted in Scripture and the Reformation
- Equipping believers and churches to stand firm in the Gospel with confidence and understanding
- Maintaining a respectful yet unambiguous public witness to Biblical truth in the face of error and confusion
- Recovering and presenting the depth, history, and structure of Protestant faith for a new generation seeking substance and certainty
As PASA moves forward, we are committed to passing on this witness to future generations – helping younger believers discover that historic Protestant Christianity offers both deep roots and firm foundations for faithful Christian living today. So that Christians in South Africa may be grounded in Scripture, confident in the Gospel of Christ, and able to stand faithfully in an increasingly uncertain age.
